The Architecture of Mindset: Timeline Shifts & Stoicism

This week, the universe decided to drop a reality check right in the middle of my gym session. I ran into an old coworker and friend, and as we got to talking about growth and being better, the conversation veered into Stoicism. He started sharing all these philosophers with me and dropped a Marcus Aurelius quote that completely shifted my timeline:

"We all love ourselves more than other people, but care more about their opinion than our own."

When I heard that, it really changed me. It was an instant paradigm shift. I always say I love myself, yet I realized I was still actively caring what others think of me. From that exact moment on, I stopped. I really started living for me.

My friend also shared Aurelius’s philosophy that situations are just situations—it is entirely how we interpret them that causes us pain and turmoil. We can only control ourselves and our own thoughts, not what is happening around us. It got me thinking: how can I actively build a positive life for myself intentionally? Honestly, this week has been so different after absorbing this information. It’s like the life I desire can be created just through thought and action, but by being very intentional and focused. I’m sharing this with the hope of empowering and inspiring you to dream up your life, just like I am right now.

Artist Spotlight: The Immortal Archives of Ron Baker

As a digital bodega merging art with design, LAND OF DR3AMS is dedicated to showcasing work that moves the needle. This week, I want to shine a light on an artist I follow on Instagram whose work is utterly singular: Ron Baker.

Baker is constantly producing work as a fierce advocate for the Black urban experience and life in the projects. His work is deeply archival but carries this powerful ancestral appeal to it. He will set up a raw installation directly in a project hallway or a concrete staircase, but this work is seriously some museum-level execution. He needs to be in Chelsea, the Whitney, or the Bronx Museum.

I am deeply inspired but also honored by his work because it is so incredibly authentic and rich. It is the type of art that is immortal. He is a true advocate, using his artistry as a tool to story-tell, preserve culture, and honor it.

Check out his latest drops on Instagram and support local brilliance.

The Connoisseur’s Corner: Herb Products Review

If we want to attract those premium weed sponsorships, we have to talk about the best flower hitting the local shelves. Lately, I've been on products from Herb. My local dispensary, Orange County Cannabis Co., just got some new inventory in, and since I am strictly a pre-roll type, I decided to try every single pre-roll Herb had in stock: Runtz, Pink Cookies, Cookie Dough, Lemon Haze, Tropical Cookies, and Sour Diesel.

Here is how they stack up for the connoisseurs:

The Verdict:

What I really appreciate about this brand is that each single pre-roll is a full gram, it’s super reasonable at only $7, and it keeps a high THC minimum—we're talking around 29%. It definitely became a quick favorite of mine and it’s a brand I’ll be going back to. Herb officially gets the LAND OF DR3AMS stamp of approval.

Thank you for stepping into the LAND OF DR3AMS. Until next week, protect your thoughts, support local art, and smoke responsibly.
