I was selected as one of the pioneering participants for D&AD's New Blood Shift program in New York, running from June to September 2017. This unique initiative offered an immersive night school experience aimed at individuals with unconventional backgrounds who were eager to explore the creative advertising industry. Throughout the program, I engaged in intensive sessions designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the creative advertising landscape.

Each week, we were privileged to attend lectures hosted by esteemed agencies across New York City, including AKQA, R/GA, VICE, Widen Kennedy, Jones Knowles Ritchie, and J Walter Thompson. These sessions were facilitated by industry professionals who shared invaluable insights and expertise, enriching our understanding of the field.

Participating in the inaugural cohort of the program was a distinct honor, allowing me to not only broaden my knowledge but also contribute to the mission of diversifying and amplifying exposure within the creative advertising industry. The program culminated in a showcase event held at the Square Space headquarters in New York City, where I had the opportunity to demonstrate my creativity alongside fellow participants, marking the conclusion of an enriching and inspiring journey.
